  1. That's just AWESOME! I must admit, they are my all-time favorite couple. They are living proof that true love not only exists, but it lasts. Nowadays, the divorce rate is sky-high, and it's hard to find people still married and happy like these two. They deserve all the love and the respect in the world, for they set an example that not a whole lot of other people can. I am VERY proud of them and I smile every time I watch the slideshow.

I love you Grandma and Grandpa!

  2. I believe it was in the Spring of 1980 that I first met the Steele family. Having moved from the La Grande/Union area in Jan. of that year, I was looking for a church that my family could afiliate with. We visited a few, but I found the Ontario C O C to be the most welcoming. Chauncy was an Elder there & they & several other families took us other their wing.

Chauncy & Lucile's extended family became some of our closet friends. In fact when their son Keith & daughter-in-law Jessie, first thought about moving, we jumped at the chance to purchase a home we felt so comfortable in, that was also close to our dear friends & church family. Our family would do anything for them as they have done so much for us, especially being great examples & an inspiration to us & so many others through their faith.

It's with much love that we wish you both congratulations on your 75 loving years together...Jack & Paulette

  3. Congratulations. I wish I could be with you on this special occasion. It is special because of both of you. Your widespread love for each other, family, friends, yes even pastors is never wavering. From the first day we met to this day I count blessings on just knowing you both. You mean a lot to me. Love you and wish I was there. Dennis Kooy
